Recycling books is where we start

The Early Bird Reader Program depends on the books donated by our community to supply the majority of our Early Bird Readers with books. The ideal books are 50 words or less with colorful pictures. You can donate your gently used baby and childrens books (aged 0-5 years) all year long at the following locations:

Corpus Christi

La Retama Central Library
805 Comanche 78401

Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library
5930 Brockhampton 78414

Greenwood Branch Library
4044 Greenwood Dr. 78416

3202 McKinzie Road 78410

Education Service Center, Region 2

Financial Donations

Through our partnership with the Educations Service Center Region 2 we are able to purchase new books for as little as $2.00 or $3.00 - so a $25 donation starts a home library for 3 young children!

If you'd like to donate, please mail your check (payable to ESC-2/Early Bird Reader Program):
